Wanna win this bag?

Need a new bag? (Everybody needs a new bag!)

This is round two of the bag that I currently carry. I am hoping to make more of them and put them up for sale in my (currently empty) Etsy shop.

It's approximately 13 inches wide, 11 inches tall and 3-4 inches deep. There are two open exterior pockets and two interior pockets. It has a magnetic snap closure. The exterior is a heavy weight dark gray-green fabric (yes, looks gray in the photos. It is greenish.) The interior is a made from a sheet and is white with pale pink stripes and roses.

I regularly carry two checkbooks, a small wallet, a 5x7 notebook, a book (often a hardback or trade paperback) and a stack of bills. There is still plenty of room in it.

How can you win it?

1) Agree to carry it for a week (or longer) and give me feedback on what you would change.
2) Leave a comment on this post for one entry.
3) Post about this giveaway on your blog for 3 more.
4) Add this blog to your blog reader for 3 more. (You're on the honor system for this one, I don't know how to check on that!)
5) Include a valid email address if it is not in your profile so I can contact you.

Contest closes July 27. US and Canada addresses only, please. Winners will be announced on Monday.

  2. Very cute bag. I would love to use this bag when I go to market and get small goodies there or when I go to song practice. I need a more practical bag that holds more than a wallet and makeup!

  3. Very nice bag! For me personally, I would want a darker lining, since I can just see that lovely print after the first time a lip stick comes open. I'd hate ruining a lovely bag.

  6. suey, jess, lisa, jaime, janel- all listed on my spreadsheet of entries! I'm off to make sure I have all of you on MY reader now!

This bag isn't the most colorful ever, if I'd thought I'd be giving it away when I was cutting it out I'd have done better. :) It IS however, a great size, I think.

  18. The Woman would love a second bag. She already uses the first to carry around bunches of stuff, depending the the day and need (she calls it her "market" bag as it carries the stuff she needs to remember for the day vs. her pocketbook vs. her school bags vs. my dog bag that carries all my toys . . . don't ask, it's her system.

Both your sites are already on my blog and I will be sure to mention your contest when I post later today about my thrilling hunt through the woods.

  19. Janssen, bree, rachel, amanda, and the Shiba's woman- all entered.

Rachel, I often take the paperwork out of mine and throw a diaper and the wipes in it for a quick run into the store. I leave the big diaper bag in the car. (Your blog indicates you may be looking for a diaper bag soon.)

Shiba, this bag is a little bigger than her previous one, I think. Definately more of an everyday kind of thing. This morning I had all the stuff listed in the post, plus a carton a yogurt, a can soda, a package of rubber hair bands, and a small pile of baby clothes for daycare. It's like Hermoine's bag! Perhaps that's what I'll call it if I sell them...
